Hereward Relay Update.

Sunday the 27th Nov.
Very windy this morning, luckily is was mostly a tail wind.

We finished a very credable 14th team out of around 130.
We were also the first vets team!
I did the second stage - 10.4 miles mostly off road in 1.08.40
This gave me second vet overall in this leg. Missing out of the vets award by just 6 seconds!

Great day overall

Palermo Half Marathon

Last weekend 18th nov to 21st nov I went to sicilly with 15 other Riverside Runners.
With a very large amount of drink on the days leading up to the half marathon it wasn't looking to good.
On race day the sun was shining and a lovely 22c. Didnt feel as bad as I thought I would! Anything under the one hour thirty would be a bonus. I felt better as the race went on.
I finished in 1.26.43. 67th out of over a thousand runners, an 15th in my age group. (40-44)

Then back on the beer!!
